December 2023 showed renewed momentum in the market with increased sales activity, rising prices, and faster sales.

Sales numbers were up 14.1% and the number of properties for sale was down 4.6% across New Zealand.

For Auckland, the number of properties for sale was down 2.6%.

The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand is predicting a rising market throughout 2024.
