I have been interested in home renovations, maintenance and construction since my first home in the late 90’s as it needed a lot of TLC.

Over the years, I have held customer services, operations and communications related management positions in different organisations and with all those career changes, one thing has remained constant; I continued to maintain my interest in home renovations, maintenance and construction as it was my go to for my ‘downtime’.

During this period, I also purchased and sold my next forever homes and this is where the value of home inspections and reports became very important to me as I had made some unwise decisions without it and some very wise ones because of it.

Hence, I took a leap of faith, invested time and energy to study the required courses and examinations to become a fully qualified and certified Professional Home Inspector through the American Home Inspection Training Institute and also a graduate member of InterNACHI – the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors.

My aim is to give home buyers and homeowners – Peace of Mind – by giving them valuable, unbiased information that they can use to make educated decisions when purchasing, selling and maintaining their homes and investment portfolios.

I am also fully insured, being backed by $2,000,000 of professional indemnity insurance per property, 100% underwritten by Lloyds of London. All home inspections are carried out in accordance with NZS 4306:2005 Residential Property Inspection and a certificate of compliance is issued with every inspection.

When I am not working in the business, I enjoy spending time with my family and in any extra spare time, I love working on home projects and of course my dream project car.
